Karthikeya Yarlagadda AS Level Media Studies

Synopsis - Karna is a 19 year old delivery boy, who is struggling to make ends meet because of his low salary. One day he meets Saha, a drug dealer. Saha offers him cash to deliver a package unofficially as he needs the delivery to be done urgently. Karna who is in desperate need of money takes the package to deliver it. At the delivery location he delivers the package to Ramu. Ramu is a sincere cop who is undercover. Ramu opens the package Karna delivers to find a book with drugs inside it. Karna is caught up in a tricky situation which Ramu uses to his advantage. Ramu then makes Karna his informant. Karna who was always a very lonely person becomes the center of this drug racket. Character Design -  Karna - Karna is a 19 year old boy. He is innocent yet clever when he needs to be. He lives a very boring and lonely life. He doesn't have anyone or any friend he can talk to. He is scared at times but becomes resilient once he understands the situation he is in. He is around 5'9 ...

 I have selected the second idea - Karna and his entry into the world of crime - because it excites me more than the other 2 ideas and also because it is more practical to shoot than the other 2 ideas. 

 I have thought of 3 story ideas for my film opening: 1. 2 teenagers, aged around 16-17, sneak out of their house and go for a drive in the night. Around the same time and in the same area, a car thief is walking around trying to find cars he can steal and resell. When the 2 teenagers get out of their car to go for a smoke, the thief see's the car and steals it. The teens come back only to find their car missing, which begins a cat and mouse chase between the thief and the teens. 2. Karna, a 19 year old boy, lives a boring life as a delivery boy. One day, he is asked to deliver a package which seems very shady to him, but he does so. That delivery results in various changes in Karna's life and takes him into the world of crime. 3. Mr. White, an 80 year old drug lord/gangster is in a critical condition in a hospital. His gang members try to use this opportunity to become successors of this multi-million dollar business thinking Mr. White isn't going to make it. There is a di...
